In sum, the Simulation Applications Engineer delivers comprehensive pre and post-sales support for GSC's customers regarding SOLIDWORKS Simulation products. This position performs the implementation of Simulation products, serves as technical support, and provides effective training and consulting services for our customers.

In sum, the Simulation Applications Engineer delivers comprehensive pre and post-sales support for GSC's customers regarding SOLIDWORKS Simulation products. This position performs the implementation of Simulation products, serves as technical support, and provides effective training and consulting services for our customers.

This role may require being in person at our Germantown, WI office. Some travel will be associated with this role.
Responsibilities: - Specialize in understanding the SOLIDWORKS Simulation products and provides recommendations for the best solutions to meet GSC’s customer needs
- Work with the Customer Service and Business Development teams to support pre and post-sales efforts
- Analyze customer needs, prepares specifications, design modifications, and makes recommendations leading to the most efficient use of SOLIDWORKS Simulation solutions
- Coordinate and execute the installation of the software and the technical service for customers
- Provide technical support in person and via phone
- Provide technical training and consulting to customers
- Work with the Simulation team to determine project assignments, report project status, and collaborate on problem solving
- Strong understanding of Solidworks and Simulation products (ANSYS, SIMULIA, ABACUS)
- 2+ years Simulation experience using linear and non-linear static analysis, dynamic analysis, computation fluid dynamics and plastic injection molding simulations
- 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is desired
- Eager to learn and share new information
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to engage with customers.
- Ability to travel locally and in the region
